About the neighbourhood
Fuilla is a very peaceful, typical village of the region. It benefits from being located so close to the Canigou mountain giving walkers and cyclists a great starting point for some fantastic tours. So why not give it a go and walk to Pic du Canigou! The house is a short drive (4 km) from the recently nominated UNESCO world heritage site of Villefranche-de-Conflent. Fuilla also benefits from a small cafe just a short walk away. There is also a grocery store in the nearby village of Sahorre, which is easy walk or bike ride (available on site), so it’s easy to forget about the car for a few days, relax and unwind. It also has easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra which allows the surrounding area to be explored very easily. The nearest main town, just a few kilometres...
Getting around
We recommend a car, but a twice daily bus passes our gate. The nearest station is less than three kilometers away, here you will get trains to Perpignan for 1 euro!! Also buses to surrounding villages.... The Yellow Train also departs from there.
