We stayed at the Old Barn not the Finca el Roque, which is next door, as originally booked. Large open plan living/kitchen area with double height ceiling gave a very airy feel to the main part of the house. Bedrooms were of a good size with comfortable mattresses and plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom with a great shower that worked...

Peacefully located in the middle of nature yet amazingly accessible and with good wifi to keep in touch with the outside world should you want to. The beautiful Anaga forest is on your doorstep, La Laguna (UNESCO World Heritage site and great food market) is a 15 min drive, while even Puerto and the golden beach at Las Teresitas are...

This is a beautiful place to stay if you like to get away from the tourist crowds. The house lays peacefully up the hill in a lush tropical surrounding allowing you to totally relax and enjoy. We found the North of the island very nice and enjoyed this even more as the south. There are nice beaches within easy reach...

About the neighbourhood
Quite village with all basic amenities. Very traditional and very good food in the area. It is 5 minutes away by car or public transportation. You will find everything there (pharmacy, grocery shops, etc.). During the summer it take place the traditional 'fiestas', one of the best in Tenerife. It is called the 'Romeria' and there are lots of food, dancing and obviously, wine.
