There is a large comfy leather sofa, sofa bed and a small gate leg table and 4 chairs, a new Smart TV and fast Wi Fi. (A must have in Ditchling where there is a weak mobile signal) A separate kitchen with a large fridge freezer , oven and hob and washing machine. A window overlooks the rear patio. A stable door leads onto a South facing patio - with bistro table and chairs. A boot storage area and a newly converted bathroom with bath and shower attachment. The patio facing South East is delightful and is a stones throw from 'The Bull' village pub, and a real sun trap. The property has been renovated to a very high standard. There is a beautiful cafe over the road where you can sit outside with a coffee and watch the world go by and you have a choice of 2 village pubs with open fireplaces and wonderful food and local ales. This is a beautiful English village with its own duck pond and cricket ground as well as an award winning gallery. Brighton City centre is closeby as is the historic town of Lewes - with a river running through. Sussex University is just over the hill. Hassocks is just up the road where frequent trains go to Brighton (8 minutes) Gatwick (22 mins) London (55 mins)Glyndebourne with its world famous opera is also close, as is Plumton racecourse . Ditchling Beacon can be walked up and is wonderful on a summers evening with a bottle of one of the local wines (there are 2 vineyards to visit if you wish) - you really are spoilt for choice ! Oh and of course is great for walkers and cyclists using the South Downs. More
