Set in a small French town about 20 miles east of Paris, Disneyland Paris is Disney’s first (and only) European outpost. It's smaller than its U.S. siblings, but it packs in a lot, with two theme parks, seven Disney-owned hotels (including a Marvel property), a golf course, and an entertainment complex that’s similar to Disney Springs in Orlando.
- What a magical experience, yes it is expensive BUT can you really put a price on the look your child has on their face the first time they see the big pink castle? No way! I took my daughter and we went both days. My daughter is autistic and I can only say the staff are so so kind, they were full of smiles and care. We were treated so so well and I just loved how my daughter laughed and jumped and danced the entire two days. She got her picture taken with Princess Bell and I have to say she made her feel very special indeed and we have 2 beautiful pictures now as a reminder. The rides are so much fun and we both laughed the whole time, rollercoasters, small world and the haunted house were fantastic, food was brilliant. It was just wonderful. My only gripe were a few snooty people who made snide remarks when we were in the priority line about all of the people who were in the line, something about how unfair it was and so on but hey, you can't let ignorant people like that rob you of the best days ever, the problem is theirs not ours, everyone has a right to enjoy their own experience. However this has no reflection on Disneyland. So id say extremely autism friendly and words can't describe how happy we are and we will hopefully return someday.@kathye482Reviewed September 2024
- I expected it to be great for my children but didn't expect just how amazing it was for parents too, there is so much to see and do for all ages, we travelled with our daughters who are 18 and 9 , so there was something for us all, it took me back to my childhood , when my girls were little and what there still into now ❤️ The shows and parades are just exceptional, pixar show is a must!! And the day parades are fascinating, and also emotional, the sky parade and fireworks on the night , wow wow wow ... we spent 3 days in the parks and it was the best ... the rides are magnificent, and the characters walking round and even the avengers that perform are the icing on the cake and to say you get all that for your money , is so so worth it !!! We didn't have any issues with viewing areas or wait times really , we did purchase the Premier access on the app for some rides as it was really hot weather and waiting was a bit intense , but again so totally worth. Food and drink yes can be a bit pricey depending on what you want but for me was all part of the experience , my advice is to take as much spending money as possible because you just want to buy everything to have a keepsake for such an amazing memorable adventure. I would definitely return to disneyland paris especially seeing what's under construction and would love to see what it adds also would love to see it decorated for halloween and Christmas! Overall I rate it totally value for money and have long lasting memories with my husband and kids forever ❤️@samanthadN5839QTReviewed September 2024
- I took three grandchildren aged 10, 11 and 12 for two nights, staying in Sequoia Lodge. Included is access to the park for the 3 days. The wait time app is essential to avoid wasting too much time queuing. A map is also extremely useful - they are at points around the parks. Our hotel had some - we had to ask for one. Every single ride we went on was fabulous. We only had time for one show, lion king, which was fantastic - I enjoyed it much more than the full length production. We had lunch at the Royal Banquet buffet in the Disneyland hotel at 100 euro adults, 50 euro children which of course is extortionate. The kids absolutely loved meeting the characters there and getting photos with them. The food was very good, unless you are a vegan. My granddaughter was very disappointed to find only salad, vegetables, Mickey Mouse potatoes, a rice dish and a couscous dish. For dessert, none of the beautiful themed puddings had vegan versions, just chocolate brownie and a crumble- type dessert, and fruit. It was also difficult to find anything vegan in the food stalls dotted around the park. Best is to check out the menu of everywhere before you leave home and write down places that would suit, otherwise you queue for nothing. The vegan issue is my one and only concern, otherwise it’s the most magical, thrilling, perfect experience for all ages.@kimkatrinaReviewed September 2024
- Bought tickets via TripAdvisor and they were the cheapest on site. Disney Paris is the best in my opinion. Affordable yes it’s still expensive to get some snacks , foods but compare to Disney California and Disney world. Paris still less money. So many option of tickets and if you book ahead you can get as low as €54 and option when travel over 4. Anyway, my family enjoyed Paris very much! We will be back! Thanks again TripAdvisor@PipymumowReviewed September 2024
