I swear, I thought I was on that island in the film, BLUE LAGOON with Brock Shields ....or the South Pacific somewhere. The sea is so clear fresh and inviting you just jump in. We went on an all day excursion from Castelli, crete and the ship stopped there for a while.. Great food on board and fairly cheap ..I definitely recommend it

I felt my head and my whole body chill when I saw this breathtaking view from above !one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. In November there was no one there so that made the place perfect . We walked about half an hour down , swam and the 30 minutes up . Of course it is difficult to walk there unless you go by boat but the result will satisfy you !! Heaven is a place on earth !

Very beautiful place. Quite large area to explore. It can get very busy in high season. You definitely need to have a degree of fitness and or mobility. The hike down is ok. But coming back depending on temperature can be difficult. We witness many people suffering to get back. You will need uv shelter food and water supplies too.
