Springfield, Ky is the largest town in Washington County. The main street has been here since 1793 a year before that in 1792 Washington County became the 1st county in the state of Kentucky. This county is full of woodlands and farmlands. Most travelers are drawn to the colors and beauty of the landscape, the fine structures built by early hands and one of the few remaining covered bridges in the state.
