The tomb of biblical Aaron (brother of Moses) who is reverenced as Nabi Harun in Islam is located on the top of Jebel Harun (Aaron's mountain) in southern Jordan, near Petra. This is one of the two places where the possible site of Aaron's burial could have been, and thus it is believe this mountain is the biblical Mount Hor. The tomb of Harun is located on the summit of the Mount Hor in the altitude of 1457 meters above the sea level.
