When in Trinidad or Tobago say "good day" or "good night" to everyone you encounter. Whether walking down the street; in a store; to workers; strangers; policemen; lifeguards - everyone.
When on the telephone; when you enter a room; when you ask for directions (always preface your question with a greeting).
If you don't feel comfortable saying "good day" & "good night", at least say "hi."
But never pass someone straight w/o acknowledging them, it is considered very rude & insultive.
Let's "lime" or let's go "liming" means "hang out". To "lime" is to casually engage in a social get together.
"Wine" on the other hand, like "wine de hips" is to turn your waist in a suggestive manner while dancing.
