Dun Si has lots to offer even before you enter the heritage park. Outside there is a lovely playground, coffee shop and grounds to explore. We decided to pay the small fee (€20 for a family of 4) to visit the heritage park and it has so many interesting things to look at, beautifully maintained with informative signs dotted around too. With a five and two year old we were kept on our toes and moved through the park at a quicker pace than I would have liked. For the parents the highlights were the trad music museum and fisherman’s cottage. The kids loved feeding the animals and the fairy garden. We were really impressed at how well presented it all was, and would especially recommend it as a stop to break up the journey from The West to Dublin.

This park is excellent for families and groups of all ages, bring your picnic or eat in the family friendly restaurant on site where the food is excellent. Located just off the greenway in Moate is a safe and friendly environment for everyone with enough entertainment to keep you busy for hrs. Entry to the park is free , entry to the Heritage Park is a small fee but well worth the price.

Lovely small park with a nature reserve pond. Great for small kids, playground, donkeys, sheep to look at. Kids playing football on the main green area. Picnic benches galore. Gorgeous coffee shop with a great selection. Nice place to spend a couple of hours

This is a great place where you can enjoy nature, learn how people lived in the past and have a great time with children. Do not forget to visit the cafe and try something delicious.
