This was our 1st time to Ireland and the 2nd stop on our journey. We were so tired and hungry when we got in. Jonathan came right out to give us a kind greeting, made sure we knew where everything was okay for us and gave us great advice for dinner. b. The ensuite room and bathroom was perfect, clean and plenty of room. His breakfast, breads and cooked to order breakfast was fantastic! Also the lunch he had packed for the next part of journey was good and just what we needed. Loved Jonathan and his bed and breakfast!

We walked the Dingle Way this summer and stayed at the Old Anchor in Annascaul. My companions and I have the bad combination of being easily distracted (we had to stop at Inch Strand for Dingle Oysters and Guinness), late starters in the AM and slow walkers. When we had not arrived by 6pm, Brian, the owner, called us to be sure that we were ok. That attention to guest experience was typical and Brian is an outstanding host. The rooms were small but very comfortable, clean and overall pleasing. The environment was quiet with the never far away sound of cows and sheep in the distance. Breakfast was superb -oatmeal with Baileys!? Outstanding! Although a small point, I found the dining room aesthetically the best of any place we stayed on our walk. Perfect playlist, great food, decor and the interaction with the staff was just a great start to the morning. I’d stay here again. And I will have oatmeal with Baileys.

The hosts Brian and Beata were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. TV and WIFI were great. Rooms were very clean, compact and well appointed. Staying here was a great start to walking the Dingle Way.

This was a great stop on our walk of the Dingle way. The room was comfortable and a perfect rest after our day of walking. The hosts were very kind and they made us a great breakfast before our walk the next day. It is right in the the viliage and we were able to stop into the nearby bars, though it was also very quiet and not at all noisy. Will stay again if we return to Annascaul!
