Very nice beach and river. Not much tourist, most local tourist. The river is cold but very clean and nice.
The sea good temperature but the waves can be dangerous. Don’t go in to far or the sea will take you. Beach is nice and clean. And there is lifeguard.
Parking is free.
Everything nice clean.
Free restrooms and parking
Just don’t order cocktails, they will give you premixed crap. Food is good and affordable.

Thank Diego-Canter

We spent a lot of time in Los Patos. It’s a busy destination with lots of locals, and Dominican tourists. A great spot to hang with the locals and make some friends, albeit a little chaotic with all the kids. It’s had some local investment, so there’s a boardwalk lined with restaurants near the main watering hole, down toward the beach. Pick your spot and order up! All the restaurants had similar offerings and prices, the only difference we could tell were the types of fresh fish they had. Ask around if that’s a determining factor. The water is icy cool and refreshing in the spring-fed river, but we wouldn’t recommend swimming in the ocean - the current was strong. Great spot for a cheap bite to eat, cold beer and a refreshing swim. Note, if you’re a drinker, they have a locally fermented rum drink with roots and herbs. It was worth a shot if you’re feeling adventurous: it’s called Mari-Juana. No joke!

Great beach on our way to Bahía de las Aguilas. The beach was not the best we’ve been but it has an entrance to a river and around it some places to eat. The food was quite fresh, local fried fish we had.

I love tha place, is a good place to spend a great time with family and friends, a place that at the moment is almost perfect, even all natural and super well cold that the best part , the bad thing is the crowds of people there but for now the place is a little uncomfortable to get there , it's still nice to go.

The beach is not so clean anyway the water is quite good. There is also a nice river that enter into the sea.
If you are passing by, you can stop here. Anyway, I don't suggest to directly visit this place.
