My husband and I loved the intimate feel of Temptation. We were looking for a great steak on the island and Temptation definitely had the best! Also, wonderful drinks and wines. The restaurant is tucked behind the casino, in the middle of some other places to eat and drink, so keep looking if you can't find it because it is worth it!!

Great food and service. My husband and I enjoyed our entrees immensly. Would definitely recommend dining at this restaurant. The owner greeted us on our way out as well. Truly made us feel welcome.

Temptation is one of our usual spots when you want to do fine dining. Terrific lamb always done nicely Specialty drinks are good. They have a fine attentive waitstaff.

Was super excited to try this place, perhaps expectations were just too high. Really wanted the PB&J Foie, they were out. Steaks were a tad overcooked and could have used some seasoning. Service was slow. With all of the great places to eat on island I doubt this will warrant a return visit.

(please keep in mind i am in the food business too)
When my wife and I arrived the first thing that "shocked" me was to see the Executive chef/owner standing right to his 5ftx4ft painted portrait.
Talk about ego...
live piano was playing.
dining room on right side was almost full by 8pm.
Our waiter welcomed us and we order 2 glass of Champagne, served few minute later but not chilled; we sent it back.
3 mn later 2 new glass came along chilled .
we received the wine list very well priced but missing items at the $100 price range.
Keep in mind that wines in Saint Martin are very very interesting in price due to minimum tax.
i ordered a seared foie Gras. perfectly cooked.
came with a basic garnish toasted bread (not great).
As i started to eat i notice that there was no seasoning, took 10 mn to get salt and peper.
main course was seared Tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes, good dish but found a piece of shell or seramic in the mashed potatoes.
called the waiter.
Asked for desert menu.
boring assortment and not even seasonal or using local ingredient.
maple, "wet" lava cake" ,apple beignet, pecan, banana flower pot cake....!!!!!!!
Boring menu and recipe from CIA school boook from the mid 90's i guess
really?!!! Chef, i managed to buy pineapple, mango ,kiwi, passion fruit at the market that same day!...
between the main course and the dessert the Chef welcome a couple that he knew well, came to our table and took a chair.
Chef, Can you ask next time?....i would have given you the chair with the greatest honor.
Chef swinged by our table briefly and asked how everything was, at this point i wasn't in the mood of telling him to stay in the kitchen and that to get your portrait in your dining room you better be one of the top 10 restaurant in the world....
If i remember Thomas Keller, Joel Robucon or Alain Ducasse dont have their portraits in their dining room.
Cooking should stay an humble service.
The feel would have been less pretentious and the chef in the kitchen rather than parading i would have been happy overall.
