This was our second visit here in 2 weeks, normally we just got takeaway. Food is so tasty, and big portions. Will definitely be back. It's now called raj mahal.

We visited on a weekday using a Groupon voucher for two. We ordered lamb vindaloo and goat curry for mains. We had Hara Kebab(deep fried curd cheese) for entree and rasmalai(cottage cheese) for desserts. The two wait staff were friendly and came to check if the dishes were to our liking several times. The foods were tasty and we learnt from one of the wait staff that there has been a name change. It's now called Raj Mahaal....

Excellent food and good service. The staff were very friendly too. Will visit again.
The real taste is the tandoori and briyani.

Over all 9/10

This restaurant has had a name change..
It is now called... 'Raj Mahaal'
Not sure how to edit that on this page?
However we had a great meal ...staff were lovely and each dish we ordered was consistent with good flavour and expected textures and ingredients.
If you like Indian you won't go wrong at this place.
We had an entree' which was deep fried spinach in a yogurt and potatoes based sauce with a spicy sweet glaze topping...really delicious and not something I've ever had before.
The samosas were as good as anywhere..excellent pastry and generously sized with a better filling than usual.
Butter chicken was probability the best we've tasted and the other dishes were good.
Because of the strong flavours the small size dishes of Indian food work well..remember they are not bulked out with carbohydrates or potatoes etc so are pure flavour!

We had a lovely meal here and recommend it for a family dinner!!

Thank harcott

Our group of twelve people had lunch at this restaurant today. My husband and I ordered lamb and vegetable korma, cucumber riata, garlic naan and steamed rice. Our food was delicious and everyone commented on how much they all enjoyed their meals. The service was very friendly. We look forward to dining at this restaurant again soon. Highly recommended.
