You have to go out of your to find Coffee Cove Seaside Retreat but it is worth it. Quite charming in fact and the area is very beautiful and peaceful. Nola and Paul are excellent hosts and run a very nice B&B. Situated on the Cove as it is, the B&B exceptionally lovely and the view is really great. The B&B is clean, the beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is welcoming. Breakfasts were served upstairs in our room which was pleasant and they were great.

Room tip: The location is beautiful, but not convenient for restaurants

We stayed at the Baker Cottage at the Coffee Cove Seaside retreat. What a marvellous spot. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, it was a gorgeous day so we checked in early and spend the afternoon on our deck which was 5 feet from the ocean. The cabin was equipped with everything we could possibly think off but it was the little touches that made this stay outstanding. There was detail about the family who had originally lived in the house, I can not image raising 11 children in a tiny house. The Baker cottage was the high point of our trip to Newfoundland, I wish we could have stayed longer and we definitely will be back.

Lovely place with beautiful views. Very secluded and peaceful. The hosts are very friendly. Make sure you close the Windows right or the wind will sing loudly! Our breakfast was beautiful and tasty. We hate to leave. This was a stop over from one side of the province too the other. Our best place so far.

Tucked away in a tiny off-the-beaten-track cove, this B & B was pure delight. Paul and Nola have created a beautiful unique space for travellers to relax and merge with the idyllic surroundings. We stayed in the spacious B&B above their home. The decor was exquisitely and thoughtfully composed, with antiques and comforts melded beautifully. Each morning Nola delivered delicious breakfasts presented on a lovely tray, set upon the little table overlooking the cove. Freshly made biscuits, tasty homemade jam, eggs, fruit and so much more. And one evening we were treated to homemade blueberry custard tarts! One morning a local juvenile eagle alighted on the roof and posed several minutes for a great photo op. This is a good location from which to do some hiking or exploring of neighbouring little towns. Don't miss Rattling Brook. After 2 nights there we considered moving in permanently!

Room tip: There is one B&B and 2 free-standing self-catering buildings ~ one a heritage cottage, the other a lighthouse.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this amazing review. It just makes my day to read the heartfelt comments our guests leave. Those blueberry tarts were made from the blueberries that were picked just outside our door the day you arrived. It was actually our other guests who picked them and shared them with us. I made tarts for them as well. You probably remember meeting them. The eagle perched on the roof was a true highlight and thank you for sharing the pictures with me. They turned out much better than the ones I took. I also loved the picture you took of me and Maggie (the gray cat). It was a delight to have you here with us. We were very fortunate that your friends sent you our way. Maybe all 4 of you can come backk to visit some time. Warm regards.

We booked this B & B to stay on our trip back towards St. John's in July of this year. I wish so much that we had more time to spend here. We stayed in the B & B and it was so beautiful. It was the entire upper floor of the house and contained a bedroom, bathroom, and sitting area and it's own balcony and entrance. Nola and Paul were kind, thoughtful and totally charming. There are lovely gardens and a great deck on the water. The views of the water and the mussel farm are gorgeous. (There is also a light house with accommodations and a separate cottage too.) Nola delivered breakfast to us in the morning and it was all homemade and delicious. What an amazingly relaxing place. It's a little off the beaten track but actually in a great location for exploring the area. I only wish we had known how lovely this place was before we only booked one night! We highly recommend Coffee Cove Seaside Retreat.
