We were exploring Spalding last Saturday as we will be moving to the area during the summer. Picked up a local free newspaper that had a review of the restaurant and stumbled upon it during our look round the town.
We were pleasantly surprised at just how good the restaurant was. We had experienced Nepalese food in Maidstone during a trip there and were impressed with the flavours and variety and it is brilliant to think this gem of a restaurant is so close to where we will be living.
The prices are reasonable - hubby had beer and i had a soft drink, popadoms and 2 courses with naan and it came to £42 so at £21 per person, I consider that good value.
My husband had the Momos as a starter while I had the Stuffed Tandoori mushrooms (I am veggie) both were very tasty. Husband then had the goat curry which he said was exceptional. I had the vegetable biryani which again was full of flavour.
Service was good and it was nice to see the restaurant full of people who were all enjoying the food as much as us.
Could be our new favourite restaurant! Hope to see you again soon.
