We loved our Stay at this hotel! The view from the property is absolutely stunning. You can see the entire mountain valley and the Nicoya Gulf. Additionally, they have a great field for kids to play in and lots of toys. Our kids ran around and played while we drank wine and enjoyed the view. Breakfast each day was also amazing. Lastly, the trails around the property are gorgeous. Very well maintained, with views of a waterfall, valley sunset vista, and lounging gardens with hammocks and swings. We have found our new hotel in Monteverde and will definitely be back!

Perfect location, very close to city and close to nature. I can’t even think of one things that they can improve upon. Just a perfect stay!!

The café has the one of the best views in the city and run by amazing team, specially Gustavo.
He not only makes the best smoothies and delicious meals, but also very friendly and welcoming. We stayed there for 3 nights and it was like our second home ( thanks to Gustavo)

Great hotel location in the middle of a nature preserve. Kids loved the hikes and playing in the large grass field while parents ate fantastic food and smoothies. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Bring bug spray and make sure your food is in sealed containers. Open during COVID and felt very safe.

We stayed at four different places in our two and half week trip round Costa Rica and overall this was my favourite. As many of the reviews say, the location can't be bettered with gorgeous sunsets looking over the gulf each night outside the reception. The reserve trails meant that the amazing wildlife was literally on your doorstep and we walked them every day. The rooms are plain, simple and have everything you need but the locale is what makes this place special. It really gave us a feeling of being nestled within the environment rather than a visiting tourist. Also pack some warm clothes, Monteverde is much cooler than lowland Costa Rica!

Very nice people, rooms, reserve, working philosophy and night tour. Ahh! Don’t forget the great organic (and mostly planted and prepared on site) food.
I can’t express enough just how great staying there is. Remember to take a light jacket with you as there are winds that will blow your hat and enjoy.
Lissette who guided it the night walking tour was not only extremely knowledgeable but great with our 6 year old.
