Fresh, clean, new, and gastronomy oriented. Unexpectedly delightful. Set in Telfes of the Stubai valley, which enjoys a lot of sun. Arrive by car because it's far uphill (parking is difficult). Would recommend the half board.

I was in Hotel Oberhofer for 3 nights. Location is very good, very close to Schlick 2000. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfasts are delicious, everything is fresh and tasty. You can go on long walk and sightseeing. Beautiful view from restaurant and rooms make you to stare, stare, stare and stare at mountain range. Close to the shop.

Room Tip: The best view? Apartment and rooms 203-207.

Family hotel where the most important guests are family of owners. Telephone in room wasn't working, we ask to fix it. 3 times! Only in the very last day we find out it will not be fixed. Ok. We asked for sight "do not disturb" 2 times, than 1 of January somebody was knocking around 9 in the morning... And around 12 simply opened door and closed, when saw that we are in. We asked again for sight. Story was repeated next morning, even if we wrote at the paper in English and German.
And in the very end of awful experience - we wanted to have dinner in the hotel, nobody answered phone. We left message about booking, but when we arrived in hotel we been told that restaurant fully booked. It could be fine if we not gonna see half of empty tables during all the time when we was trying to find place to have dinner.
When we were complaining at the reception we been told that for having sight "do not disturb " we supposed to turn lock not 1, but two times...
The worst experience I ever had in hotels!!! Price is incredibly high, no information, no service, nothing!!! And nobody cares!!!

The hotel is located in the beautiful natural landscape of Telfer Wiesen Nature Reserve, close to Innsbruck. (Note: each time you enter on the highway you have to pay 3 euros – which means 6 euros for a return trip to Innsbruck – but you can very well use the alternative local roads)
It is a good hotel, but under my expectations for a 4*. The rooms are very large (unnecessarily large I’d say) and comfortable, but the interior design is rather obsolete (in particular, the old style “corpulent” TV set doesn’t fit with my image of a contemporary 4* hotel). No minibar/fridge in the room, which is unusual for a 4* hotel.
I’ve appreciated the façade wall entirely in glass, offering great mountain views from inside. Sliding doors connect the room with the balcony where you can sit, refresh and admire the landscape. The relationship with the wonderful surrounding landscape is probably the main quality of the hotel.
I didn’t liked at all that the TV had only programs spoken/doubled in German – no English or French channel, nor Italian (even if the Italian border is at some 30 km) – which can be considered an unwelcoming attitude towards tourists who don’t speak German.
Note that the hotel restaurant is not “a la carte”: you can only have a 3 course menu (for 33 euro) chosen from two versions, and only if you previously make a reservation. This means that you cannot have a one course light dinner (a salad for example); you must eat 3 courses (or at least pay them). No other restaurants nearby.
In the 21st century, paid internet access is rather unusual (most hotels offer it for free).

Had and excellent time with my family in the hotel. Really intimate atmosphere and ideal for relaxing after a days skiing. The food is immaculate and the service was great too. Very accommodating hotel staff, always a pleasure to stay with them seeing as we have been there a few times before and intend on returning in the near future.
