What a beautiful shop, well maintained skis and fatbikes, excellent service and hints to local area. Best place in area to rent xc skis definetly! We also got good add-on to our gear before we headed to trails. Thank you!

We rented cross-country skis for our first week in Lapland. It was no issue swapping from classic to skating after two days. Timo gave us great hints on how to organize our tours, we went with Hanna Maya on a mystical night shoe ski excursion, we learned how much fun far bike riding is with (another) Timo. Clearly thanks to SiSu we could get the best of our time in Äkaäslompolo! Thanks to the whole team.

Myself and my wife wanted to try cross country skiing and this was recommended to us by Y1 ski centre and so glad we did it and spent a day away from the downhill.
55 euro each for 90min lesson that gives you all the basics and then you can explore yourself for the remainder of the day.
Super friendly welcome and excellent service along with quality equipment.
A real alternative look at the area around Äkäslompolo that we had not visited.
Totally recommend and will do again. We may not have mastered the skiing but we are now skilled fallers

We booked a cross country skiing lesson with Timo as beginners. We had a wonderful time, Timo was such a nice and patient teacher, you could see how he loves and enjoys his work. We learnt a lot und could do our tours (also in the night!) alone during the next days. We rented our complete skiing equipment from sisu outdoor, which was in perfect condition at a fair price. At the end we fell in love with this sport and with the landscape of Akaslompolo. We are looking for our next time in Lapland, we are definitely coming back and visit Timo and Maikku again! Thank you very much!

We booked a x country ski lesson with Timo who was great - there were 4 of us, average age 53. After a 90 minute lession, we felt confident to go solo the next day. 2 of us managed 8km! Won't say how many times we fell over!! Kit was brand new, pricing was good, lovely friendly service. THANK YOU
