Stopped into this store on a holiday weekend recently and was pleasantly surprised by its atmosphere and inventory. You can find everything from freshly baked goods to frozen meals, sandwiches, regular groceries and used books. It also has a lovely little liquor store with a nice selection of wines and there is a small eat in or take out restaurant area. I tried their homemade brown bread, which was excellent and their butter tarts which were quite good. Hoped to have their fish and chips on a Sunday night only to find that they weren't serving food as it was a slow day and there were no other restaurant customers. This spot is a must see if you are in the area - it is quite unique.
