This was a lovely hotel, friendly staff, spacious and modern bedrooms...what more do you need?! Oh yes and the views from the terrace are breathtaking! We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good, although we were there on a Sunday night so it was only the a la carte option. So beware when ordering the starters as the foie gras starter would have done all 3 of us but we'd ordered 2 which meant we barely made a dent in them, but they were lovely. Breakfast was very good, although there wasn't a hot option, but this is common in Spanish hotels which primarily cater for the Spanish and mainland Europeans.

I couldn't fault anything, the bedroom we had was huge with windows all around the room as we in the top under the eaves of the roof. Sensational shower!! They have an honesty bar for drinks which was a nice touch.

Room Tip: Top family room 4th floor.

New hotel and restaurant. Wonderful setting and great food. Oñati in general is gorgeous. This place allows an overview of the town. Reputed to be where the old nobility watched the people and controlled access to the city. Kinda cool.

We had a great family time in Torre Zumeltzegi
Amazing views. Amazing time. Iñigo so nice and helpful always! Thank you! We fully recommend the place, either for a glass of wine, a nice meal or for a whole weekend!

We enjoyed a two night stay at Hotel Torre Zumeltzeg in Onati before travelling to the Pyrenees and then Provence. We stayed in room 401 which has great views, but mine your head if you're tall! We dined both nights at the hotel as there weren't many restaurants in the town catering for tourists. Dinner was excellent, but breakfast was a bit limited. Easy parking, great sightseeing and cycling nearby.

Room Tip: All rooms are good with great views.

Well-restored "tower" hotel. Adjacent to the very appealing town of Onati, which has a University and numerous buildings with architectural merit. Recommend also visiting Arantzazu, which is 10 km up the valley.
