I'll start by saying that we hadn't booked to stay here. Unfortunately we were informed at very short notice that our preferred accommodation was overbooked, and offered this as an alternative.
Having read recent reviews , it's fair to say we were a bit anxious about what we would find.
The room was basic - we had booked self catering, but it didn't have a kitchenette. We were then provided with crockery etc so I could make lunch. There isn't much storage, and requires basic maintenance. But it was clean.
Breakfast was ok, but wasn't replenished as items ran out. So if we were a bit later, there was very limited choice.
The pool is lovely and very quiet.
You can access the sea directly opposite the hotel. It's rocky, but we love snorkelling so it was perfect.
The walk to Sami is interesting. The first 500 mtrs is along a busy road with no pavement, but after that it's a lovely 40 minute walk along the seafront.
I would say a car is essential if staying here.
We loved our holiday, Sami is gorgeous and there's loads to see and do. But I would definitely stay somewhere more accessible next time.More
