The Bannister hotel has an outstanding view of the marina and the Samana Bay. Most rooms are ocean view. However, service at the hotel restaurants is poor. Visited the restaurants 6 times during my 2 night stay and there was always a problem. The severs would not take the order and make you wait for over half hour, the servers would bring you the wrong order, and most times the ticket would not reflect the order. The hotel needs to have someone with experience running both restaurants. It is a shame that a hotel with such view and location can’t handle basic services.
