five friends stayed here for 4 days at the end of a fortnight in Turkey. The taxi driver had trouble finding the villas as they are a few miles along a tiny road up in the mountains. This is a group of a couple of dozen villas set in the pine forests on the side of a mountain overlooking a lake. The view is superb. The villas are all privately owned and you rent from the owner. Prices are good value. The villa we stayed in had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was beautifully furnished and had a very well equipped kitchen with huge fridge freezer, washing machine, three balconies, plenty of seating, a pile of DVD's to watch but no internet connection.
The villas are set around a lovely clean infinity pool.
Almost on site is an amazing restaurant with seating up in the trees. Good food at a reasonable price.
I wish we had known that you do really need a car as there is little by way of a food shop on site.
In september there were only a fraction of the villas occupied - we found that most of the owners we met didn't actually rent their villa to others so there would always be peace and quiet. Lovely! But may not suit people with children.More
