As soon as I walked into the property it was so welcoming. Sadly the owners were away on holiday themselves so we had no direct contact but everything was labelled and/or easy to find. It has everything you could possibly want, so much so that my sisters and I started a daft competition to think of things it didn't have .. we came up with a melon baller and a butter curler so you can see that it pretty much had everything. The beds are very comfortable, the whole cottage was very clean and despite pretty poor weather we had an excellent time. Plenty of great walks and things to do locally.

What a lovely place to spend an Autumnal weekend. The owner (Jane) was the perfect host, super generous with her time and a lovely cake! The property was spotless, warm and cosy. The location could not be better with walks in every direction in the most beautiful part of the Exmoor national park. Looking forward to going back.

The location of the cottage is perfect. It contains everything you need for a short or long stay - plenty of space in all rooms for a large family as we were 6 adults and we all had plenty of room in this farm cottage. It was lovely and clean and well maintained. Even though it was a winter break over the New Year, the cottage was extremely warm and cosy throughout with extra blankets if we had needed them. There was also a log fire in the living room which was a homely feature.
Jane was so friendly and welcoming on our arrival and throughout the stay with any ideas to make our stay more enjoyable and giving advice on using the AGA Oven which was fantastic.
My brother and his wife had their German Shepherd with them and he also loved the cottage as much as us and settled in to his surroundings immediately.
I would highly recommend the cottage for a peaceful relaxing break in a country setting, with a bonus of a beach nearby so has something for everyone. We hope to stay in the cottage again as we enjoyed it that much.

Absolute home from home we loved every minute of our stay. The best cottage we have ever stayed in. Clean,comfortable brilliant location. Great for the children loved having the aga with the clothes dryer above. Would recommend staying here. Horner cream teas just up the road were just delicious. Great walks from just outside the Door Porlock a 5 min journey in the car has everything you need for food and essentials.
