went there on a school trip was extremely disappointed , staff very unfriendly , breakfast was bread (not even toasted) tea and coffe with milk that curdled when u put it in . accomadation was horriblr , dirty and out in the middle of no where , not pratical for children or teenagers , bunkbeds with no gaurd to stop u falling out , showers where dirty , all swimming pools football pitches etc where closed . we arrived to finf three men preforming some short of medation/ ritual thing in which they shake until they vomit , when we asked about them we where told that they didnt exist and we where the only people there , we later discoved that therewas another man staying in the same building as us . staff where very dishonest with us and we where drip feed the information . i would never go back . "castle" it was more like dugens

Room Tip: dont go there

We stayed here whilst in transit. It's cheap and basic and for the one night we were here not too bad. The room was clean and for 60 Euros for a place relatively close to the airport we couldn't complain. We couldn't imagine having an extended holiday there unless you were a walker/backpacker as the nature reserve is just across the road.

Rome after 2 months on the road, was too expensive for us so we opted to stay out of the city. Websites gave us the info we needed, free return trip to the train station each time you wanted to catch the train and 1 euro into Rome central. That sounded like us. Set amidst a forest with restaurants, a shop, coffee shop and bar it sounded great, the price was good as well! I must say, the sleeping accommodation is basic.... Ergo bunks... But hey you had your own private bathroom, a fridge and comfy bunks to sleep in as well as table and chairs for eating and relaxing on the deck amongst a beautiful old forest. This place is large tho and it is easy to get lost on your way to and from the various places, pools, supermarket, reception restaurant .. Every little road looks the same and the trees make it even more difficult to find our way. After a couple of days we had it all sorted and could even find our cabin in the dark. We even left our bags etc here and headed up to Florence for a couple of days and then down to Naples. It was nice just to have a little back pack after lugging all our gear around for so long. Mostly the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Albert in the shop. It was superb to be out of the town and yet only a 1 euro train ride away. We could stay late in town and catch the last train home or head home and have dinner and drinks at the Country Club. Mind you avoid rush hour times on the train like the plague! Go in earlier and come home later, just the ticket for us.

Room Tip: Just a warning double does not mean double bed it means room for two! You can get a double room but you need to be very specific about it being a double bed.

I see that this place has several sites here, so I just copy my comment from "Countryclub Castelfusano" to here as well just to make sure that it will be read by as many people as possible.

We have just returned from this "beautiful" place, where everyday at 10am cleaning ladies visit your bungalow not letting you sleep keening to keep your room clean. But - don't try to ask them to come later... They won't be happy. Completely free of charge you will have a lot of new friends there. Small friends. Biting ants :) Endless... Also you will be able to meet other people there. But do not expect that you meet there someone other than young and loud German child ;) In every bungalow there is in fact a double bed. But... surprisngly it's not horizontally aligned :) You will sleep one over another. We would also like to thank you for the brilliant supermarket, where I could buy 1 liter cola for just.... 3,60 EUR! By the way - in the restaurant 1 liter coke costs 2,60 and you get it in glass bottle. And with nice service. I had a dream that I stay at CCC 2 hours more int the bungalow after checkout due to terribly late flight. It was possible, of course. I could even stay one day more. But the price is fixed - regardless you want to stay 1 hour more or 1 day more - you have to pay for the whole day. Thanks for waking me up ;)
So, if you're over 25 - just find another place to spend holidays.
We have been there for the first time.
And surely we will get back to Rome, but also surely - NOT THERE ANYMORE.
