A very interesting place to visit and hang around for a few hours. Also the road to the Nordkapp is beautiful. It gives you an impression how tiny a human being is in this amazing nature. We had fantastic weather: blue sky and a light breeze. Even this made it impressive. I can imagine that storm must be really impressive at that place
After a long bus ride from Honningsvad with views of water, fields, snow-capped mountains, and ugly little reindeer, we passed through many tunnels and around winding curves and finally arrived at this spot. It is filled most of the day and night with tourists and why not? Since it was a foggy day, there was no view. It was cold even in June, but what a place. Lots to see indoors. A very good experience.
A visit to the Norkapp is a must do when you visit Honningsvag. The cape is about 45 minutes from the town. An interesting ride on good roads thru a unique landscape. The cape is about a 1000 feet above the water. The views are majestic and the visitor center very well done with exhibits, postal unit, restaurant, and gift shop.

In order to watch the famous midnight sun, it was not easy to be there - drove 1,300 km, and you have to cross your fingers as well, since you have to bet for the weather there is good.
The night we arrived was cloudy and windy, and after spending time in the tunnel's exhibition, theatre (which was rather boring!) and souvenir shop, we finally stayed in the cafe at midnight to watch the natural wonder.
To be honest, it was not too impressive.......but the feeling of being at the northern end of the European continent was amazing.
