We went to Jämsa for first time last August because Nightwish and other great bands were playing there and we thought it'd epic to go to that festival at Himos. We weren't wrong about it! We totally loved the experience ♡ the only thing in Jämsa or well the only complicated thing in Himos (to be more specific) is that if you don't rent a car you are in trouble, taxi rates are quite high there and if you want to get the keys of your room you got to go to the main reception at Himos park and believe me you can't just walk there. We had to do it cause when we tried to return home from the concert that night there were no buses or taxis available for the thousands of people that went there so we had to take the risk and walk in the dark from the concert venue to Motel Patalahti and I swear it took forever. So next time, we will rent a car hahaha the good thing is the hotel has a 24h gas station with a restaurant inside where you can buy food or whatever you need and you can also call taxis from there. People are really fiendly and helpful ♡ we loved the experience and we will go back for sure! More
