Puuhamaa is a trip to the 80's, it's a trip to the childhood because it's still the same than all those years ago. It's a place for families to spend the day with children. You are allowed to take your own snacks, drinks, food and even stakes / sausages for bbq in the park. There are small wooden bbq places where you can make a fire and prepare your food. There are many places for children to spend an active day, there are water slides and pools, swings, trampolines, adventure trails, cars and boats to drive, different kind of machines to test. I went there with my children last year and they enjoyed the day a lot. The children were then 12 and 8 years. I didn't know then that we could take our own food so I drove to a close by shop to buy us snacks. I plastic bag full of food at the same price than one of us would have had a hamburger in the diner...
So it is a nice place but remember to take swimsuit and towel, snacks and drinks and prepare to spend all day.

I was here when I was 9, so quite long time ago. i did not like it because of I did not find anything interesting to do. It was schooltrip and maybe it was too cold then in May, we could not use watersports and only thing we could do was inside - where was gamehalls for booys mainly. But this is a opinion from far 20 years, but still wondering if it is worth to go with your own child...
