Initially I thought it was a real mexican restaurant and was surprised to find it served pretty much every basic dish (burgers, pasta, salmon) you can find in a chain restaurant anywhere, with a "tex mex" kind of twist apparently. It does say in bright colors: "MEXICAN restaurant" but the only remotely mexican dishes are burritos, tacos and quesadillas, which do not cover even half of the menu. This is borderline racist if you think that's all the dishes that ever came out of Mexico.
The restaurant is dimly lit, the seats are a little uncomfortable to a shorter person, but the place was clean, which is always good! The portion size is satisfyingly large, and I really enjoyed the crispy, crunchy fries. It does need a more modern twist on the menu, and a much stronger identity as a chain restaurant. Step away from the chopped lettuce + tomato + cucumber + mayo combo which every single finnish restaurant serves...
The staff earns points for their good customer service.
Anyway it's a family friendly diner so if you're looking for a hearty meal with a little hot sauce, this is the place for you.
