Feeniks cafe has opened in a new renovated space near Hotel Scandic. There is also a bakery making and selling pastries and cakes in the new premises. They have best selection of coffee in Riihimäki, a great dalad offering and everything the bakery makes

If you are looking for a nice lunch place with good and fresh salads, this is the place to be! Friendly service, neat and tidy dining room as well. I did not try pasty as I have heard that salads are the signature dishes.

Visited this stylish little art cafe for afternoon coffee with a business colleague. This is one of those non-chain cafes with a distinctive style that stands out. It is situated by the Riihimäki market square, so if you approach their street address at Hämeenkatu you will have to walk one block from Hämeenkatu along the pedestrian street Kauppakuja.
The specialty are the tasty cakes and chocolate brownies.Mine was served with Italian ice cream, and the combination was one of the best I've ever had.
They also arrange different art productions here, art exhibitions, little concerts etc.
There's also a terrace overlooking the marketplace.
