What a lovely place, down to Earth and friendly and the food was delicious! Social distancing was excellent and everyone was wearing masks and checking in.

We were booked in for 1PM under the name of green but arrived 30mins early? But nothing was too much for the staff as our table was reserved, we were shown to our table, offered drinks & the menu in a lovely old world country pub. We chose the 2 courses for 10 pounds off the over 60s menu & there were 4 good courses & sweets. We had 2 plaice fillets and a steak pie, all piping hot, big portions and all homemade plus lemon cheesecake with ice cream. We were all full and the drinks were reasonably priced. All in all a very good pub lunch and the staff did their best in a very busy and popular pub. Well done to everyone,we will be back. Thanks to all the staff. Roger,Yvonne and colin.

We had scampi.
It was perfectly cooked and tender.
The chips, unlike so many eateries, were crisp and fluffy within.
Everything beautifully presented.
Even the stainless knives were new and sharp...take note other Peak kitchens!
