Plenty of outside tables with your food and drink brough to you by friendly staff. The beer was excellent, food very good and social distancing well done.

We had dinner and lunch there and enjoyed both.

We visited this pub for drinks and a meal yesterday, the staff were all really friendly and chatty. The food was brilliant, really hot and tasty. There are a very good selection of beers that we sampled.
We enjoyed our visit so much that we decided to call in again today after a walk for a drink.
Overall a lovely little pub, great beer, tasty food and a lovely setting right next to the river.
We will definitely be visiting again!

Absolute gem of a pub! Just off the Monsail Trail with fabulous outdoor seating overlooking the river. Staff are sup friendly and the menu is vast! Ordered 2 lamb shanks, pork with peppercorn sauce and beef mushroom and Stilton pie. All dishes were outstanding! Huge portions too! Enjoyed a few hours overlooking the river with our dogs, who were very much welcomed. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Just eaten with husband and son plus little dog in the bar. You have to book in advance as it is busy and people were being turned away.Historically it was not always like this so it was lovely to see it doing so well!
Social distancing and sanitizer available. Everything kept very clean and table service only.
Husband had Steak mushroom and ale pie. I had Steak, Stilton and Mushroom pie. Both with mash, fresh veg and gravy. Son had burger, chips and salad. He managed to find room for Chocolate fudge cake and custard after. I really enjoyed it. Flash it isn't but home cooked traditional quality food and beer it is. We had a fabulous meal!
