Was recommended to go to the Wheatsheaf and found it definitely female friendly. The service was excellent and I had the best steak ever- will make sure I visit again very very soon. Incidentally there is a fabulous area to eat outside at the back of the pub which looked so inviting. Great value and fantastic food.

Thank Monique K

Our business was looking for somewhere different to hold our annual, informal, Summer Soiree (from 2pm 'till late) and a friend recommended "The Wheatsheaf". The venue, which has recently been refurbished to a high standard, successfully retains the traditional atmosphere of a Pub and beer garden. We met with Manager Kirsty in advance to run through some catering options and basically she took on the challenge of organising the whole day/evening with total professionalism. She arranged a delicious 2-stage cold buffet together with baskets of hot food for a reasonable cost. As our staff arrived throughout the day (attendance peaked around 50) she operated a drinks voucher system which worked very well indeed. The facilities were kept immaculate throughout and we would certainly recommend "The Wheatsheaf" if you want to run something similar for your staff!

Wandering around Heathrow area as a family, looking for somewhere to ‘grab a bite’ and not looking for anything special when we stumbled across this venue.
Initial appearance was ‘clean and acceptable’ so we ventured in and requested a table for 5.
This request was met and Paul invited us with a welcoming smile.
Although the menu would appear basic, what they do they do well!
The basket meals ordered by the children I was informed by them, were fresh tasting and great fully received.
Us adults tried the steak option:
Black rock hot stone brought to your table pre-loaded with a slab of meat, cook yourself to your liking. This concept was intriguing and challenging.
Wow!
It was superb!!
Well worth it, and would not hesitate either returning or recommending to anyone.
Thank you for a fantastic experience and a welcome that is second to none!!

"The best steak in London" the sandwich board outside the pub advertised. From the outside, this looks a modern family pub. The staff were certainly warm and friendly, they couldn't be more helpful. Inside the pub, groups were playing poker and the clientele were there for a drink rather than food. We decided to sit outside, which over looks an M.O.T centre and the pub bins.
I ordered the black rock steak, this is such as clever idea as you cook the steak to your liking at your table. It offers quick service and you're in control of how it's cooked. The steak was brilliant! The problem is it's served with frozen chips and the sauce is in a paper container.
If you're going to advertise the best steak in London then sell the whole package. Make some lovely home made chips, serve the sauce in presentable containers, create a better ambiance rather than eating next to the bins.
I was left feeling confused about what type of pub they are trying to be, no consistency throughout the pub.
Great steak but this place could offer so much more.

Dissatisfied with trying to get served a drink in this bar, the girl bar person was more interested in the young boys order steak dinners and the older man whom I assume was the manager was walking about with a dish cloth wiping the bar and took no interest in people waiting for a drink. My food got cold after I stood at the bar for over 15 minutes waiting for a drink. Won’t be going here again when I next travel through Heathrow.
