Dave and Michelle are the wonderful hosts of beautiful house in this gorgeous part of Scotland. The house is set in beautiful countryside and surrounded by flowers. The highlight for me however was definitely Michelle's wonderful cooking. Best breakfast in Scotland and the best B&B I've been to in Europe!

Stunning bed and breakfast with lovely hosts. Our family room was of an exceptional standard and the country setting was amazing. We were so sorry to not be able to stay longer but were travelling on to Aberdeen to a wedding. Our hosts were extremely accommodating - we really enjoyed the short time that we spent in their home as they went out of their way to accommodate us, were friendly and relaxed too. On top of all of this the breakfast was first class in terms of the quality of the ingredients - the super fresh eggs and home cured bacon were delicious. Thank you so much for looking after our gluten free requests too. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Chapel of the Barras Farm B&B for one night when we were travelling in Scotland this June and July. We wished we could have stayed longer! The B&B is just fabulous! It's out of town, so it's really quiet. The house is beautiful and very clean. Our room was big with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was great and freshly made. We went to Dunnator Castle with our bikes, which was a nice route. It took us half an hour to get there with our bikes, so it's very near. The B&B and the sights near it were one of the highlights of our Scotland-Trip. Thats why we highly recommend the B&B to anyone who travels to or near Stonehaven.

A lovely set up in the country. Quiet and with great hosts. They helped us with a restaurant booking. There are a number of options nearby.Great breakfast and very comfortable. They seem to have plenty of custom.Being in the country is a nice change-especially for city based children. The hosts have great suggestions on local walks and sights, many not in the usual guidebooks.I would liked to have stayed longer.

Room tip: Any room on first floor
