I had a week recently at the Warwick, and found it a good overall experience. Note, I went with my wife and 3 year old daughter, and chose All Inclusive package. Stayed for a week.

The "Good":
The restaurant food was lovely. Particularly the Papagallo Italian and Wicked Walu Seafood were great places to eat.
The location on the Coral Coast was great, with the stunning beach and pool and resort grounds.
The room and bathroom were nice, and looked recently refurbished.

The "Average":
The food at the Pool Bar and Bula Brasserie were pretty average (nothing to write home about). Was in vaste contradiction to the other restaurants.
Also, the shops inside the resort were a bit expensive, but that was expected in a resort.
The All Inclusive package, was OK, but was definately not "all". Set menus, and only local drinks (no cocktails). It was ok for us, but could see others accidently venturing off the the package, as it isn't reminded during ordering what was included.
Also, we were in the "quiet" wing, but still would get loud guests swimming and diving and drinking until late at night. Not really the problem of the hotel, but they could at least have some "rules" about conditions of use and actually police it even slightly, especially when that wing was mostly couples and small children trying to enjoy the quiet end of the resort.

The "Bad":
Firstly, we booked the Warwick on the fact they had a Kids Club for our daughter who just turned 3. Was actually the primary reason for choosing the Warwick (wanted her to have a fun time too). When we arrived, we checked out the kids club and asked about what was the process for her to use it for a day to have some fun while we hung out by the pool. We were told the times, what to bring, etc, and all sounded fine. On the 3rd day of our visit we planned our day by the pool and a massage (actually only a couple hours in the morning), and packed up a few things for our daughter. When we arrived at the club, we were told 3yrs old was a guideline only, and they actually didn't take any child who wasn't 100% toilet trained (daughter is in training pants and is mostly trained and would have been fine for a couple hours). So they wouldn't take her, and she thus burst into tears given she was already in playing with a few kids while I spoke to the staff (1 lady watching all kids in a room) and we had to leave. Just some "conditions" explained beforehand or online, before we booked, could have saved those tears.
Secondly was the Air Con in the rooms. Worked well at night (good), but day times were EXTREMELY hot and humid. The floors and mirrors would all get wet from humidity, and conditions were better outside during daylight hours, even in full sun. Would have been ok, had we not being trying to give daytime naps to the daughter a couple days. Impossible, and we all ended up with heat rashes from those days. Even when a few random staff were asked, they agreed that it was known as a problem for a long time, and just hadn't been fixed. They wouldn't say any more on the matter, so assume it is a sticking point with maintenence on the A/C system.
Thirdly was the stray cats. Obviously every kid in the place wanted to pat them. When my daughter got stratched by one, we were a lot more careful, and went about paying the resort store prices for Detol and Bandaids (I felt that pain in my wallet). In the week we were there, Staff did NOTHING to keep the cats away, even when they saw them near people eating or kids.
Lastly, the tap water. I filled the jug to make coffee in the room. The water came out a little orange. So I tried again, thinking the element was dirty. Wrong. Water out of the tap was dirty and actually smelt bad. So at that point we figured, must be some complimentary bottled water for washing teeth etc. Wrong. No free water. No signs to say not to drink the water, Nothing.

Overall, we had a great time in Fiji thanks to some friendly local villagers, and a good time in the Warwick. Little things could have made it a great time in the Warwick also.

We had eight women recently stay at the Warwick Fiji Resort and Spa for 8 nights and we could not fault it. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed.
The staff were amazing and always on hand to assist you should you require anything.
After a day or two they would remember our names which made us feel special.
I had read lots of reviews before staying here and at times I wondered if we should go there because some were quite negative. I am glad we decided to go as we were very impressed.
The rooms were spacious enough, very clean and attended to daily. The girls that service them were great and would respond to any requests we had without hesitation.
The restaurants were great and we ate at the Italian restaurant 3 times, we had Japanese twice and both were fantastic. We ate at the Wicked Walu once and the food was a little disappointing but we still enjoyed ourselves and were glad we experienced the restaurant.
We had our meals included in our package and paid the difference to dine at the restaurants other than the brasserie and at times there was no extra charges except for drinks which you expect to pay anyway.
The staff who conduct activities were always friendly and the wait and bar staff amazing. There is always something to do and entertainment every evening.

Overall we had the most amazing holiday and I would highly recommend staying here, we cannot wait to get back here for a visit again.......hopefully next year.
The only downfall to the trip was it is approx 2 hours drive from the airport but the scenery is beautiful.
Thankyou to all at The Warwick. See you again soon

My family and I have recently returned from a two week holiday at the Warwick Fiji Resort and Spa and it was nothing less than paradise. The facilities were beautiful, clean, and manicured, the food was exceptional and the staff were amazing, always greeting us with a smile, nothing was to much for them to do, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special mention to one of the chefs, Nasir who always made me feel special and treated me as if I was the only guest he had to cater for. I would recommend the Warwick Fiji as a holiday destination to anyone that wants to be pampered, well feed and surrounded by an amazing beach and tropical surroundings.

Room Tip: If you have a room on the ground floor you are only metres away from a pool and beach. If yo have a room on the second or third level you have great views of the ocean and surrounding tropical gardens

Bula! The Warwick lived up to what it said it would offer and nothing less. Everything from the facilities, food, pools, rooms etc were fantastic.

This was my first time to Fiji, though my partner's third time. I'll definitely be coming back. The staff and people are fantastic, forever smiling and willing to help where ever they can, though on 'Fiji Time'.

The cocktails were great, and the ice coffee's from the bar outside the lobby were brilliant. The pools were great, as were the lagoons where we spent many an hour. It's a kid friendly resort, so if you're childless like we are, the noise can get a bit much sometimes.

Other facilities we used were the paddle boats in the lagoon and the snorkeling equipment. We were charged for the use of the paddle boats, though I'm sure I reads somewhere these were free (though I might have also read that 'non-powered' equipment was free, debatable whether a paddle boat is 'powered', by that definition the canoes should have been charged for too, and to the best of my knowledge, they were free). The lobby, tour desk, bars and eating areas were superb. Nothing better that sipping a cocktail while watching the sunset at the bar.

If you like a bit of snorkeling, the lagoon is nice but wont blow you away. Great for kids doing it the first time. We decided to head a bit further out past the markers and found some nice areas.

We did a few tours, though the resort itself felt a bit small after 8 days. We also visited the Naviti resort, which is the Warwick's sister resort about 10 minutes down the road. A shuttle bus runs between the two for FJ$5 per person all day, or a taxi trip costs $16. The shuttle runs 3 or four times a day. The two resorts are very much like each other and it was great to be able to skip off down the road and enjoy the other facilities.

I've read some negative reviews about the rooms, though ours was great, and given you spend probably 8-10 hours a day in your room, most of that sleeping, the room didn't have to be great to enjoy this experience.

The only negative thing to come out of our stay was perhaps some of the clientele. My idea of a holiday isn't sitting at the pool bar from open to close, but each to their own.

All in all, a fantastic time had! Vinaka vakalevu to the great crew at the Warwick!

Room Tip: We we located overlooking the Nadi pool on the third level. The room was great, with the exception of the sun peeking in in the early hours of the morning making for an early wake-up. The Nadi pool is the most popular pool of the two at the resort, so if you enjoy an afternoon nap, suggest you request accommodation over the Suva pool, which seemed to be a little less on the busy side.

driving in was amazing, the lit up entrance was breathtaking. I didnt know what to expect. truley beautiful resort. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. we stayed in the mountain veiw rooms in the suva wing and it was peaceful, clean and nicely decorated. The food was great at all the restaurants. entertainment was good. Really enjoyed kayaking. Theres lots of fish and sea creatures to have a look at. The pools were both beautiful. Veiws were stunning. Only thing is it takes 2hrs to get to nadi which is annoying but a nice scenic drive. Its good to see the country and villages. Definetly would stay here again i cantwait to go back. anyone staying on the coral coast stay here, i saw the other resorts and they dont compare to the warwick.
