We visited Lucca to celebrate a birthday, whilst staying in the area.
The birthday girl turned 10 and LOVES pizza, hence the choice of restaurant.
We were all pleased with our meals and thoroughly enjoyed all the food. The staff were lovely, attentive, cheerful and chatty.
Our only criticism was the price of a large glass of wine! Husband had 2 glasses and was quite surprised to see an extra £18 on the bill (our fault for not checking I suppose!!). Another couple were quite shocked with the cost of their bill too, again the glasses of wine got them.
Luckily I don’t drink (and neither does the 10 year old!).
That said, we’d visit again as the food was really good.

Took our son out for his 14th birthday, awful food. Italian roast beef was disgusting, made me feel sick had to leave the table. My son order the volcano pizza, had 3 blobs of beef and 6 pepperonis scattered around. My nephew ordered the steak burger, the burger was hard or over cooked (burnt). One if the 2 sets of fried calamari was dropped on the floor by the waitress as well as the sauce, so the one that found our table had no sauce. The replacement calamari came 20mins later.
Sitting in my car feeling absolutely sick as the beef is not digesting! Each of the 6 meals were about £15 probably work a fiver or less each!

Visited as a couple on a warm mid week evening, we were shown to our table for 2 by a welcoming waitress who then offered us a bigger table next to a window, which was a nice thought.
There is a lovely, modern bar area when you first arrive, then the restaurant has a more rustic feel, with original beams, both lovely spaces.
We were offered water straight away.
After this our waiter arrived and took our drinks order, we chose a bottle of Rose Brut, which was very nice, shortly followed by our food choices.
Our waiter for the evening was friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
We both ordered pizza and a couple of sides, all of which were great, the pizza’s really are amazing here, we have had take away versions previously which are equally as good.
We finished off with a brownie & ice cream to share which was warm & gooey (lovely) and 2 x cocktails which were expertly made!

Very nice ambience and great pizza at Lucca, would highly recommend.
Positioned in Wendover high street, right opposite a car park, which is handy if you are driving.

Classic Italian restaurant with some great dishes special mention for the paccheri with aubergine. Great flavour, hot in temperature and good taste. The children pizza’s was very tasty, good dough and high quality. The ravioli with spinach and ricotta was well liked. The mini arancini were not the best but were in great temperature and well presented. The seafood pasta was a great success, lots of shellfish within and good portion size wise. Well appreciated the limoncello after dinner. A bit of real italian bread with the dinners would have been appreciated as of in Italy itself!! Great overall
