Three of us visited for lunch and credit where it´s due. We never ordered the most adventurous dishes but from experience this often means your food come out as an after thought. Well not here 10/10 on food, service and surroundings. This is a lovely and relaxing place to sit so after lunch we decided to order what turned out to be a good bottle of house red at just €6,50.
They serve really good and fresh side salads that you actually want to eat and is not just intended to fill a gap on your plate. One of our party had a Cajun Chicken Wrap that looked great & it was full of seasoned chicken, the jacket potato was beautifully cooked with generous fillings and very cheap. I had a fish finger sandwich and this was nicely cooked on fresh English bread and everything was nicely presented.
This was just a lunch but enough to say we will be back for more, great to see they offer lots of community events like quizzes, Spanish lessons, sporting events etc. The menu offers much more than just lunch items and looks like the roast is popular so we will give this a go. If I lived in Albir this would quickly become by local!!!
