Vino Latte is a great little coffee and wine establishment with a great atmosphere. The food is excellent and wholesome. They have a great upstairs area including an outside deck and the downstairs has a patio area. Coffee and wine choices are plentiful.

Use to love stopping in for coffee and work and now they've decided to move locations. The one on Grand Ave was an ace location for us here in town and now they've moved clear across to other side of town. What an awful move and sad one. Look out Starbucks here we all come.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on our recent relocation. I'm disappointed you chose to rate us two out of five based on our business decision to relocate our original store, especially since in your comments you indicated that you loved stopping by for coffee and work. We realize that the Grand Avenue location was great for some people, but inherent in that is the fact that it wasn't for others. You are obviously familiar with our business, but some readers may not be, so I'll take a minute to explain our growth and decision to move.

We purchased the business of Café le Grand in the fall of 2003, at which time we were informed by the City Of Wausau that the intersection of Grand Avenue and Thomas Street would likely be renovated by 2005 in such a manner that the building we occupied would be unusable and most likely razed. This date was continually pushed back, but our future in that building was always going to be limited.

In 2014 we took a huge leap and purchased the building at 4204 Schofield Ave. in Weston, and open our second location. The new location, at about 3200 ft.², was more than twice the size of the Grand Avenue location and allowed us to expand our menu, offerings and event space. In addition, owning the building allowed us to decorate and design it more to our vision. With the success of the Weston location we found our original location very limiting– In a much smaller space, with the inability to expand, and no desire on anyone's part to properly improve the building.

All of those factors combined, with many I have not mentioned, lead us to purchasing the building at 3309 Terrace Court, Wausau. The space, at approximate 4000 ft.², allowed us to once again design and decorate to our vision and expand the Wausau location's offerings to match those of Weston.

We hope you'll have an opportunity to visit the new Wausau location, and would suggest - since you indicated you and others may now head to Starbucks (which is also located clear across the other side of town and pretty close to our new location) - that you drive the extra 2 minutes and check it out. Same great coffee, an even better place to hang out and work, an expanded food menu and new wine on tap systems.

Thanks again for your time and we look forward to seeing you at the new Wausau location. I hope this clearly explains what we were thinking. Cheers!

The staff is always friendly and their coffee is world's above Starbucks and other nane brands. If you like Caribou Coffee, you'll love Vino Latte!

We had some time to pass before we went to a wedding reception so stopped here for a glass of wine which costed $8 for an average pour. They do have a good selection of wine by the bottle.

We stopped here for some java drinks after a drive up from SW WI. What a pleasant surprise! The drinks were made perfectly the first time and tasted great. The wine selection is terrific. Since we'd already eaten, we didn't have food, but what we saw other patrons eating looked and smelled very good.
