This Mirador offers good views of the rugged West coast. However, I only went as far as the halfway point, as it was that windy, I could barely stand up. Whilst the views from here were good, I'm sure they would have been better from the very top.

Situated off the mountain road between Pajara and La Pared is a mirador with a difference. The area is part of a black skies region enabling visitors to view the stars free from light pollution. As such, there are numerous aids to help.

However visit in the day and your eyes will be drawn landwards to the fantastic vistas. There a two small parking areas and it's a small trek up to the top but what a view! Unmissable if you have a car to get there.

You can find this on the road between La Pared and Pajara. There are no facilities here, but it is not too far to drive to Pajara afterwards. The are a couple of small parking areas, and then you have a 10 minute walk up to the Mirador. It is not a stepp path, but it is quite rough in places. The view at the top is worth the climb. There is not much vegetation, but there are great views in all directions, especially to,the west.
