Our second visit to the property and just as good as the first, the property has everything you need and is the perfect location for watching dolphins in the wild and exploring the beautiful Black Isle, we will definitely return soon hopefully
We spent a week “On the Point” and it just wasn’t long enough. The house is beautiful and so comfortable with everything you could need. Clean and well maintained and with luxurious underfloor heating which we loved. There is a big secure garden, perfect for kids to play. The house is in a very peaceful location but with great access to local amenities. We explored the lovely Black Isle, and did a day trip to Inverness, but for us the highlight was watching the dolphins. You can just stumble out of the house onto the beach and there they are! Definitely want to go back here, we loved it all. Highly recommend!
This house on Chanonry point really is beautiful. It is an old property which has been renovated to a very high standard so you get the best of both worlds. It comfortably housed 5 of us and you could easily fit in a couple more if needed. The upstairs bedrooms both overlook the bay and you really can see dolphins swimming past. Rose was very helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay before and during our holiday. We enjoyed walking along the beach to Rosemarkie and the fairy glen (very muddy) and stopping at the beach cafe for a cuppa. I highly recommend a boat trip out with Ecoventures at Cromarty, We saw many dolphins and Sarah is very mindful of not interfering with these magnificent creatures. We also visited the Scottish dolphin centre at Spey bay which is great if you want to learn about whales and dolphins. We were so impressed with the house and the area that we have already booked to come back next year. This is a property that is going to become very popular and will book up far in advance, I can't recommend it enough !!
A stunning location and a home to match. From going to bed with the sound of the waves all around, to waking with the sun to clear views across the bay this is a remarkable place to stay. We had a wonderful time with the children playing on the sand yards from the dolphins, and took full advantage of the proximity to distilleries, historic Inverness and easy but memorable walks: Fairy Glen is a must. We shall certainly be back before word gets out on this real gem.
