No one is wellcome at this lodge. Reception to restourant nobody smiles. Many people come to see the increadible Sagalassos ruins and stay overnight at this hotel but wrong decision! Nothing to do around. Hotel has facilities if they let you. Spa was almost closed when we were there. Outside pool had the seatings but they do not let you eat there. The fireplace was not working. No music, no playroom. All you do is eat and sleep. So staff do not do much and management do not spend much.
Make a daily trip to the ruins. It is marvelous.

Located on a hilltop with breathtaking views all around and situated next to the hopefully soon to be UNESCO WHS of the same name. I believe this is the only hotel in the area of the site but they treated us with attention and care. The host at the restaurant even spoke French. The rooms are decent sized, but the bathroom and TV are very recent (as is the whole hotel). There is free WiFi but service was spotty. The food for our dinner was buffet style and delicious, as it was for breakfast. There is a spa and others in our tour group took advantage of the Sauna (included) abs massages. They are very eco-conscious. If you are planning travel in the area, this is a must, both for the hotel but even more for the chance to see the archeological site. Only main downside was that they kept the dogs outside overnight and they barked often and loudly (as dogs do), so it was difficult to get a good night sleep.
