Poor service (waitress just stared at us instead of asking us what we would like), poor food (we had breakfast, bagel with cheese, bacon tomato and poached egg). Poached egg was ineatable (too much vinegar), bagel was toasted way too much, tomato was awfully cold.

This is a quaint cafe bar the salmon baguettes were served warm and freshly made they went well with a cold beer. The prices were reasonable the only downside was that smoking was allowed inside even though there was a no smoking sign on the wall.

We have been in this place for coffee in the morning and also for a beer in the evening! I liked the music, the service is good and the staff is very polite! The only thing that they could improve would be the quantity of chips with the beer! Some more would be just perfect!

A cosy small cafe bar with light music with hot and cold drinks and snacks in the centre of Argostoli city at Cambana square The place although restored after 1953 earthquake resembles somewhat the old one with the Cambana tower with the clock bell taking the central place. At evenings with dim light performers sing playing guitar or madolino creating a tranditional sense. A small cafe for all hours.

We'd arrived in Argostoli as part of our leisurely journey back to the airport, only to find it closed! Apparently, this is normal for a Sunday, as everyone is in church, but we'd not considered they'd be there most of the day, so we sat down in the seating area for this cafe, one of a very small number of places that was open.

We ordered some cold drinks, which were fine, and some coffees, which were okay, but not the best we'd had during the week. We also ordered some ice-cream, which was very nice. None of it was expensive.

The service was very slow indeed, as the place was manned by a sole waitress who didn't seem to be very interested in working very hard. Still, given that we were in no rush, it didn't matter too much, so we whiled away the hours until everything opened up again.
