.....or much more? the villa alberti is my latest discovery in this beautiful region around venice. 18th century mansion. beautiful. big parc, garden, near the brenta canal. no need to go to england anymore to find a castel to stay! in autumn there is even the fog of the lagoon here. first own fruits come in may, bikes, hikes, museum villas, all kind of (venecian!) food...

Ideal location to enjoy to beauty of the Veneto region.
My wife and I really enjoyed taking destressing walks after breakfast in the typical Italian garden connected to the hotel. So relaxing... After that we easily reached Venice by boat after leaving the car in the Fusina parking. There is not better way to reach Venice, entering the old town by the water it's like to be teletransported to another dimension.
The rooms was very clean, and you can spend a full day just looking at the collection of art pieces placed, with taste and all around the hotel, by the family owning the property.
Just one additional thing on the family. They are the essence of the local hospitality, our impression is that helping their guests for them is not a must, due to their job, but a pleasure. And your happiness is the only gratitude they are looking for.

Room tip: Rooms looking at the typical Italian style garden

Great base for exploring Venice and Padua. The hotel is an old villa with tons of charm, nice big rooms and very clean. Perfect to relax.Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Dolo, the close-by town, also offers pretty good food options. Lovely gardens too!

We just stayed one night here - a wet Sunday evening in October so not surprisingly there weren't many other guests.

The hotel is next to the road between Mira and Dolo on the Brenta canal. There's a car park upfront and a main hotel building and what looks like a newer annexe. The gardens are probably beautiful in the Summer but we didn't seem them at their best.

The hotel itself is typical of the area and therefore contains many historical paintings and ornaments. We had rooms 1&2 upstairs - really high ceilings and plenty of space - including a very large bathroom. Lots of character and great for one night. Floor boards a little creaky though!

Breakfast was as you would expect in this part of Italy and set up for the day.
