I stayed one night in this lovely hostel,more like ahotel,comfortable has a kounge and free tea/coffee etc.Propeiter most helpful,took me to station for bus,gave us a 6 course breakfast for 5euros.friendle and eager to help in any way.central to town,must visit museum brilliant,cheap,staff were super helpful,much appreciated.bus and railway station are within walking distance.good information centre,young lady excellent help.get a map.can go to the Latvian part called Valka.there is a large supermarket near to station area.Support this lady propeiter,she is one in a million.Martin Flint.
