We stayed at Sandsletta camping a couple of days in a tent and later in a small cabin.

The camping site is very well equipped with a shop, a restaurant (really good fish meals), a tidy wash room, laundry and a kitchen. Located directly at the fjord it offed the opportunity for us to take our Kajak and have a nice tour.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Svolvaer is just 30 minutes away by car and other nice spots like Eggum are in reach.

The camping site is quite far from larger villages, shops, so be prepared. Although there is a small shop in the camping site, where you can get some basic items. The area itself is very beautiful. Camping site has a sauna, grill area. The site is right next to the water, so you can swim and in the evening you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. There are larger cottages and smaller ones. Smaller ones don`t have showers, there is another building where the showers are, you need to pay extra for hot water. We where in the large cottage, had a big table, kitchen area with a stove and a fridge, outside terrace.

we stay two nights in nice cottage next to sea shore. In midsummer night there was good food and bonfire organized by camping. Great view to mountains.

Friendly people in reception and changes to reservation was done smoothly during visit.

Value for the money.

We stayed in a blue cabin for one night (2 adults, 5 and 7 years-old girls). Cabin was clean, it had a fridge and a range inside, which was great. There were also some animals in the camping area and it was great for the children. Staff was really nice and helpful. Only thing I was missing was a bit of a play area for the kids. Otherwise everything was good and would definitely stay here again.
