Arrived and given keys to a room with unmade bed, wet towels on floor, housekeeping clearly not been in. Hotel apologised, upgraded us to a suite - nice, it's our 50 wedding anniversary so all good.
Out all day yesterday till 10pm. Came home to unmade bed, wet towels, deja vous. Called down, that's right they said, we only service the room every three days if you are staying that long!
You have to request towels, shampoo, coffee ( supply 2 capsules at a time so be prepared to decide if you want evening or morning coffee!)
This place is not cheap, quite the opposite. It was jumping last night (Saturday) with a wedding party (thump, thump, thump of loud music - loud happy people yelling their good nights at 2 am).
I have little french, and Sunday morning receptionist had same competence with English. She gave me towels and coffee whilst trying to convey the hotel's policy, which she said is clear in documentation. Probably is, not looked. I just used the room fees and star rating to assume we were not in the YMCA.
If you come only for the golf, you may like it here. We will not be back

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff we very helpfull. WE like having a small fridge and microwave in the romm and enjoyed gaving a balcony with a nice view of the MOnt Orford mountain. WE had breewakfast one morning. The buffet was plentiful and a wide selection of choices. I played golf on the course which was in great shape and fun to play and the price was reasonable. On our last evening, we enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. A limited menu but great food.

We have stayed here once before and that was Feb 2019. We thought it was nice didn't notice it to be dirty or anything but this time around was gross. Our first room had pee still on the toilet seat, side tables not wiped down thank god bedding was changed. Our second room had used contact lenses on the night table in plain site.... I mean if you look at the table you can see it. I know the staff are trying but this is gross, at that point because it was our last night we didn't bother complaining we cleaned it ourselves and I don't think we will be back. Either hire more cleaning staff or inspect the rooms your selves things are not being cleaned the way they should be to wipe a side table even rushed takes literally 3 seconds...
