We stayed three nights in the Granado room at the end of a road trip through Andalucia. Wish we'd stayed a week, or longer. Simply heaven. If you're considering this B&B, don't hesitate to book it. The evening meals are delicious - always two choices for starter and main course, sitting outside on the terrace surrounded by tranquility and olive groves. Tim and Claire are just fantastic hosts, so helpful and detailed with their advice and directions to nearby villages. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the house itself is so welcoming - a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere all around. Wifi is not the greatest, but that's due to remote location, and no TV in the bedrooms if that's something you're used to having.

Room Tip: A corner room gives you two balconies over the olive groves

Casa Olea is the perfect place to stay for anyone wanting a peaceful holiday in the olive groves of the Subbética mountains.. The food is gorgeous, the rooms comfortable and cosy, other guests are friendly and everything functions as it should and more. But it is the hosts themselves who make it so unique - Tim and Claire are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, whether it be places to visit or stay, or detailed maps and descriptions of the many wonderful walks in the hills. This must be the best tourist information office in Andalusia!
After our 5th visit we already look forward to returning again soon..

This is one of those reviews I am reluctant to write in case it spoils the hotel or makes it more difficult to book. However, here goes:

Super relaxing, super friendly and excellent food.
Tim and Caroline are effortlessly welcoming and the casa has been decorated tastefully throughout.
Quiet rural location with endless stars at night.
Some lovely walks nearby

Just the most relaxing enjoyable too few days there.

Room Tip: ole has balcony

Absolute perfection. If you are looking for a lovely, immaculate small inn with stunning views, delicious food, wonderful owners who help with everything from hiking suggestions to travel tips, and even a dog to take walks with you if you so choose, this is it. Perfect place from which to take day trips to amazing historic sites or beautiful hikes, then return to to enjoy a peaceful location set in beautiful olive grove. One of the best places we've stayed, anywhere in the world.

Just returned from our 16th visit. The frequency of our stays pretty well says it all.

Beautiful house with the loveliest, most comfortable and well appointed rooms. All are different and all are lovely- we’ve stayed in them all!

The location is in the most beautiful, tranquil and unspoilt countryside, with walks from the door; as well as hikes further afield. You can wander all day and not meet another soul.

Then a return to relax on the terrace and watch the sun set over the subbetica mountains with one of Tim’s wickedly strong aperitifs. The latest is Spanish gin with a squeeze of fresh orange juice and topped up with tonic. The percentage of gin is fairly high!

Then comes a perfect three course meal cooked by Claire, with assistance from Paco ( beautiful calamares paco...), from fresh local produce. Just delicious.

Casa Olea never gets any reviews less than 5/5. There’s a reason for that. We love it.
