Unfortunately, I was not feeling safe when walking to the see from the hotel - so many beach boys who are clearly on drugs. Speaking so slowly want to use all type of techniques to sell you things (safari trip, excursion, etc). In the end I was okay moving around in a company of a man, but alone was a bit tricky

lovely natural pool - when the water is low

My wife an I was lucky enough to spend 3 days here and we had a great time.
We had been on safari for 9 days so we needed a few days to relax.
The beach was so beautiful and water was crystal clear. It was also the most blue/green color I had ever seen. It may have ruined me for all other beaches.

I cant wait to go back and this time I will spend 9 days on the beach and 3 days on safari.

The sands are stunning and once you’re in the sea you manage to escape from the sellers.... it’s quite relentless.... BUT.... we were very happy with the carvings, etc we bought, and it was nice to chat and hear their stories.... a top tip, they may ask for bottles of water and hotel shampoo and body wash, but they’d love new sandpaper!!

Diani Beach is a wonderful wide stretch of white sand with lovely water.
The beach itself is almost empty and is all the better for it. You feel like you have the whole beach to yourself and you pretty much do most of the time.

There are resorts along the beach but most people are inside them on sun loungers and not on the beach itself. There is also a bit of seaweed but it's not a major problem in anyway and should not put you off visiting this lovely place.

The beach is best at low tide when it is very nice, but, even at high tide is still a lovely place to be and the water is still nice and colourful.

If you're down this way it's a place not to be missed. The only downside is some beach hawkers trying to sell you their wares but they are easily dismissed and you can get on with enjoying the beach.

It's definitely a taste of paradise and you should enjoy it when you can as places like this tend to get seriously packed with people once word gets out how nice it is, but, i feel that's still a fair bit away and you can still enjoy it now, no problems.
