4 of us stayed in the twin rooms. The rooms were amazing value and were absolutely spotless. Our balconies has great views of the pool below us and the sea. If we stayed again we would stay in these rooms as some of the others are a further walk uphill! The Thanos is an easy stroll into Gialova, you can use the sun beds at the Zoe, so it does not matter that you are not directly on the beach.

Was there again in late Sept/early October. I just love this place and the lovely family that own it - so helpful. I even brought my brother and sister this time. It is very peaceful and has great views over the bay. Ten minutes walk to Gialova and less to the supermarket. The one bed villas and apartmenmts have great facilities and the studios are a good size. Great value for money.

The view from our balcony was breathtaking, the pools great - and we had them largely to ourselves - and Maria and Thanos as friendly and helpful as ever.

We had a wonderful, peaceful relaxing stay at Thanos Village in August. We had dreamt about it all through lockdown and it was even better than we'd hoped. Everything from the beautiful sunset views from the huge balcony of our villa to the peaceful swimming pool (which we often had to ourselves) was perfect. We loved sitting in the midst of the olive and lemon groves, having lunch and taking in the unbelievable views. We were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to walk into Giàlova and you could manage here without a car. There are so many excellent tavernas to choose from in town. We loved exploring the surrounding area, though, and went to Polylimnio waterfalls and Ancient Messini, as well as pootling up the coast to find all the fishing villages and beaches. Maria was so helpful, but also very respectful of social distancing in these bizarre times. The only thing we wished we had was our families to enjoy it with us. What a perfect fortnight of peace. We came home feeling fully restored.

Our 5th return to Thanos Village this summer..... which says a lot!!!! Rooms have everything you need for a great base to explore the pelopenese. The views from the balcony are amazing, perfect spot to watch the sunset. The family and staff around the hotel are very friendly and attentive, they had also taken all the extra precautions to provide a covid safe stay. Everything was well organised to deal with the strange situation this year; we felt safe from the moment we arrived and soon got down to having a good time. A lovely clean apartment with great views, in an interesting Greek resort we have been coming back to for many years. We look forward to returning to Thanos as soon as possible.
