“daisy studios, tsilivi”
Reviewed 1 September 2012

Hi, please do not confuse Daisy studios in Tsilivi with the Daisy apartments in Kalamaki. This review is for Daisy studios in Tsilivi. I have stayed at the Daisy 3 times before, the latest was in June for 2 weeks and will be going back on Sept. 6th for 2 weeks (Strategic Airlines permitting). If you require basic clean accomodation with a very good pool area, close to the beach then the Daisy is the place. All the staff are very friendly and cheerful, the rooms are clean but basic, (take a travel kettle). The self catering facilities are very basic, not suitable for culinary classics. .A/C can be hired but expensive, 70 euros per week. The English cooked breakfasts by the pool bar have improved and are now very nice and good VFM. There is a handy supermarket next door. 4 minute walk to the beach and 8-10minutes to resort bars and restaurants. To sum up, if you want somewhere inexpensive to chill out in a relaxed atmosphere, in a good location, the Daisy Studios are ideal.

Daisy appartments is situated in a very good location close to the beach, and a ten minute walk to lovely restaurants and bars. The chap who worked during the day was always pleasant and happy he even got up at 3.00 a.m to check that we got our taxi to the airport on time. The rooms were quite basic but always cleaned daily, fresh linen and towels every other day.Women who worked there were less cheerful.Good english breakfast, pool was clean but not very big you had to be quick for the sunbeds.Overall the daisy for what we paid was more than adequate and would definetly stay there again.Tsivili itself is a beautiful place we had some great food, great nights at Magdelinas, great boat trip to shipwreck island and absolutely gorgeous weather. Thumbs up for this place.

My wife & I booked a last minute week's break with Olympic Holidays at the end of June. Day flight with Strategic out of Gatwick was on time & arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule.

30 minute transfer to the Daisy. Quick check-in & shown to our room (207) on the first floor overlooking the pool by Asteris. There is a lift, so no heaving of cases up flights of stairs.

As this was our first stay in Tsilivi we attended the welcome meeting the morning after our arrival. Lauren, the Olympic Representative was very good, she had good knowledge of the resort & its faclities & always chatted to us when she made her visits throughout our stay.

Our room was basic Greek Standard accommodation with twin beds, two cooking rings, sink & fridge. Bathroom has an open shower unit! Kettles, fans, safety deposit boxes & air conditioning (selected rooms) are available for hire. The studio was large enough for the two of us with a balcony with two chairs & a table. There was sufficient wardrobe space. We had taken a travel kettle with us but it was awkward as there were no sockets near the kitchen area.

Our room was cleaned daily to a reasonable standard, sheets & towels were changed once (mid-week) during our stay. All of the staff at the Daisy were very friendly & always took time out to wish you good morning etc.

The area around the pool is very clean and has ample beds & shades; & we had no difficulty securing our favourite spot on the three days out the six that we stayed around the pool. There are plenty of tables & chairs around the outside bar area which are all in the shade.

We would return to the Daisy but would probably consider requesting a room that didn't overlook the pool. The noise from the pool bar area late at night (1-2 am) could be a little bit loud!

Room Tip: Rooms that overlook the Olive Groves at the rear of the Daisy are much quieter & have air condit...
